The story goes that two beautiful doves decided to travel and get away from the pond they had lived next to for a long time because of the scarcity of water there. Their friend the turtle was sad and asked them to take her with them. The two doves replied that she could not fly. The turtle cried a lot and begged them to find a way to carry her with them. The two doves thought a lot and decided to carry her with them. They brought a strong stick, each of them held one end of it and asked the turtle to bite on the stick so they could fly with her. They warned her not to open her mouth no matter what the cost because that would cause her to fall. The turtle agreed and promised to do what they asked. The two doves flew over the forest until some people saw the doves and the turtle and said: What a surprise! Two doves carrying a turtle and flying with it!! The turtle could not control herself and said: May God put out your eyes! What does this have to do with you?! She fell after the stick slipped from her mouth and her ribs were broken. She said, crying: This is the result of talking too much and not keeping promises.
